Reliable Gun's Annual Sale!! THIS WEEKEND, UPDATE: Sale has now ended

A lot of what I wanted was gone when online sale started. Darn, had to work today. But grabbed a some Wiley X glasses at 50% off. Thanks Reliable. And saved 700 bucks compared to last year. Lol.

So, when are in store pick ups being permitted?

We are closed in-store until Thursday Dec 8th, 2016 to process orders. All in-store pickups will be receiving a message from the system when it's ready for pickup. Thank you for shopping at Reliable Gun!

well i wont bother following this thread next time merry xmas

Wow Sense of entitlement much? I went in store and got some great deals and looked again online just for fun. I can't believe how much complaining about reliables great annual sale

The amount of whinning from the online sale is ridiculous. Obviously they only have some stock for sale and once gone they're gone. Some people checked out quicker than others and that's life.

I was on the site the second it came up and got the Savage rascal in pink and .22 quiet training ammo I wanted for my daughter for christmas. It was a good deal and I'm happy about it. Thanks reliable. It really was the best sale of the year hand down. So good I actually went back after I knew I got what i really wanted and looked around some more and placed a 2nd order. Any chance you guys could combine the 2 and save the shipping on the 2nd. It was just a few small things.

But I do need to just throw a few comments for the sake of saying it, if not just for some rationalization of how some are feeling.

Everyone who says there should be no whining... your right. Anyone who bought something got a great deal. But, when a sale is this hyped up over the course of weeks... not JUST in store, but online all across the country, you have to expect that the people who simply CANT be there in person but WANT to spend the SAME money as the people who were there... theyre going to feel a little 2nd rate when the sale was open for an entire day to in store buyers. Its not like the prices were different or were spending different money. I REALLY wanted a savage 42... really bad. Been looking forward to it all week. I did expect that I wouldn't get it but had a bit of hope in the back of my mind. Didnt get it, and I know why... it was too good a deal. Not upset, just disappointed in that one aspect of this whole deal. Other than that one point, It was a great online buying experience.

Heres a suggestion (from an east coaster) to completely solve the whole deal for us who waited... why not open the online store at the same time but reward those in store customers with an extra %5 off. I agree, take care of your local customers first, but if your going to advertise nation wide, give us all a chance to capitalize on your amazing sale a the same time. Just my suggestion.

One other minor note, you guys should check on your shipping quotes online. They are way higher than any other shipping costs I've paid from any other west cost store. Im not sure if the other places are just charging less than their actual shipping costs or what, but I was quoted over $70 to ship 500 rounds of .17hmr via can par from reliable... which is more than double what I've paid for 1000 rounds of 9mm from another store in BC, also via can par. Still worth it... just shocking to see that when you check out.

Great sale guys. Thanks.

no sense of entitlement , followed something posted here , as soon as store opened was not available because i am sure if open to locals was sold out
there is online there is local , if you are wanting a online following then provide something worth following
i am glad you are local and could go in store ,,but the post here for across canada cgn followers was a waste of time ,,see the other side
i do not resent you enjoying a great deal, i just dont need to waste time thinking anything is offered to the rest of us who are not local
can not see how this is not reasonable

Tax for an online order shipping to Alberta comes up as 12% initially at shipping estimate page. Does this follow through or do Ab residents only pay the GST of 5% on their order??

Just make sure that you are logged into an account with AB set as the province. Normally when that has been an issue, the person has been viewing as a guest. That means a default local tax.

My guess is, it's too hard to manage accurate inventory if they open on-line sales same time as in-store sales.
