The answer to you're question is: Reloder #26 offers what handloaders love, higher velocities, accompanied with accuracy. Because of it's rarity and extreme cost, I reduced my consumption from two rifles to one.
I'll bet they don't have any left, and can't get any.I saw it last summer at Black Sheep Sporting Goods in Idaho.
I believe it was $59.99 USD per pound….

What caliber is performing for you with it? Just curious because I load 95.0gr RL-25 under a .308” 180gr Accubond 300 RUM @3350 fps chronographed. Always 3 shots 1” or less at 100m with #1&2 touching or almost touching. Notwithstanding, I’ve never needed a second shot since I got the rifle, a LH Rem 700 LSS, a couple years after the 300 RUM hit the market. Severe arthritis necessitated a muzzle brake eventually BUT if I had a buddy with me I never fired until he had his ears on.

RL 26 is significantly slower than RL 25, and as such, it has a longer peak pressure curve, which in turn gives higher muzzle pressures and more velocity, in a very consistent manner, which usually makes for best accuracy conditions.
