7th edition Hornady Handbook lists 2.955" COAL for a Remington 600 350 Rem. Mag. (18.5" 1:16 barrel), and a rather impressive 2700 fps MV maximum with 200gr bullets.
For comparison, the 350 Rem. Mag. SI (Slamfire Improved) boasts a COAL of 3.200". On my to-do list to see how fast I can safely fire 200gr TSX bullets. I would conjecture ~3100 fps.
Hornady knows a lot more than I do... but I wonder if they are simply loading these rounds singly and not feeding from the magazine ... the chambers for 350 Rem Mag - at least mine, does have a lot of freebore ... fwiw - 2800 fps (even 2844) with 200 gr spire points is no magic from the 700 Classic barrel ... maybe 2700 from the 18.5 is no big trick either ... particularly if loading them out that long.
