Remington Special Run?

I think there would be a lot of folks happy if Remington offered BDL style TI actions [not rifles, bare actions] for building custom rifles.

You're a genius. An ADL wouldn't hurt my feelings but if a guy could get 50 Ti actions from Big Green without having to rob a bank I bet he would sell 49 of them within 2 months. Keeping the 50th for himself, naturally :D

33 inch big game rifle

Got a couple votes for the 45-70 and 7.62x39, a whole bunch for stainless and few for detachable box mags. I originally wanted a longer barrel, but how about something really unique, as in unavailable from anyone. I would like to see a super short barrel, like 14 or 15 inches in a popular big bore cartridge like a 35 cal short case magnum (or just 35 Rem). A real brush buster with nice peep sights and a picatinny rail for lots of scope mount options. Sell it with 2 big mags (10-20 rnd.) and a shorter one for easy carrying. Would like to see nice wood on it, but laminate (or fiberglass) and stainless (of course) wood probably be more fitting.

Would this be sick, or what? Who likes this? Gatehouse, would you be in?

:puke: Sounds like something that mossberg would build.

How about they just bring back the stainless model sevens?

Stainless Fluted 24" barrel, Grey Laminate Stock chambered in .338-06 and 6.5-06. Also, I would like to see their BDL chambered in .358 Norma Magnum with express sights.

I would take a 375 H&H or a 6.5-284 in stainless/gray lam.

so, is anything happening with this? I thing this is a great idea!

I would go for 6.5x284., 6.5 Swede, 260 Rem..7 Rem mag, even a Single shot 6mmbr..on an XR-100 action/ model 7...now that would be sweeet.
Have no use for a big boomer or 100 yard plinker thats what Marlins are for.:)

I think Ruger should make their Alaskan rifle in the 450 Marlin with a Grey Laminated stock. I would definitely cough up some gems for that! At least it's a controlled round feed action.

Mossberg (and probably Remington) doesn't have the balls to build anything nearly that cool and edgy.

Nothing wrong with the model seven, but everyone has their version of the wonder wisp mountain rifle. Even in stainless.

Nothing new about a 7-08 with a pencil barrel. It's like going to a Ben + Jerry's 73 flavour icecream bar, and saying "Ooh ooh.. I want vanilla bean!...No wait Vanilla delight..scratch that.... Dreamy Vanilla! That's the ticket!" :p

I want the :canadaFlag: gunnutz edition that only a couple hundred nuts would put in the safe. I think if they were built, they would go fast.
