I also prefer the original name: Remington Tactical club of canada, that is really what distinguishes these rifles from the other Remingtons really, before customization of course.

They are the only rifles (except the m24) that are made by Remington LE not regular remington. so the word 'tactical' is key IMO

I think the term "owners club" is a little too PC for my liking. I want to scare hippies

I let out the "of " on purpose.

Tactical can be added.That is not a problem.

Keep in mind that the 700P/700VS/700LTR are all made on the Regular assembly line and just marketed by the Remington LE division.The notion that the 700 Police series were custom shop type guns was dispelled long ago.

There is nothing special about these rifles (except the funky LTR barrel fluting).The 700P & 700VS barrelled actions are the same but with a different finish & stock.

I know, but they are still produced through remington LE (by that I mean sold and marketed not manufactured.)

without or without of doesn't really matter to me, splitting hairs really, not that important. I'm looking forward to getting this thing going!

Jamie, are you looking into production of these at all? IE source, pricing etc?

I think we also need a tally on purchasing for whoever is making the order.. through PM to the organizer I would guess incl sizing etc

Just to clarify, if this does go through, then the "Buy" will have to be cleared by the Admin before it actually takes off.

What does this have to do with admin, this is a group of private citizens agreeing through a common medium to make a collective t-shirt order from a private business. Is it just because we are talking about it on CGN?

I am confident it will be passed as it isn't carrying the cgn name on it (unless it is decided we do that) and if it is denied we simply move to email communication and do it anyway

Bingo!!!!! Anything organised through this site requires Admin approval.Especially since there will be ordering, plus money & goods exchanging hands.

I don't for see a problem.;)

Nice touch! I wonder if there is a way for the background circle to continue underneath the writing? so it is not cut off by the wording.
 
Yeah I don't think we should go with any generic sniper slogans. I like the "one round at a time" slogan quite a bit, but I do like "Bolt Actions speak louder than words" even better :).

Anything slogan can be put there.I was just doing up the logo with a few different ones.

I personally like the first one as it is vague in it's meaning........;)

The main thing was the Layout and name placement.

Well there is still the ongoing reticle poll so I gues that once that is selected we can get the ball rolling on clothing production, pending admin approval of course :rolleyes:

Can you get that approval now skby so it will be faster to get the rest done once we finish with the planning?
