Remove the set screw and back off the castle nut with castle nut pliers.
Get a BFH and a 10 -12 inch long brass punch if you have it . I have used steel punchs as well .If you dont have a barrel vice to put the receiver into someone could hold it for you secured barrel down between their legs .
Place the punch on bayo lug or bottom of flashider and hit it hard.
Watch for the flashider to move forward against the castle nut and then back the castle nut off some more.
You have to hit it hard though to break the welds but then it moves easy after that. ...
I have taken off the one on my shorty and 3 other regular length ones like that with no damage to the flashider or rifle.
