Parker Hale Mauser .270 with Bushnell 3 - 9 X

M 700 Remington 7 Rem Mag with Leupold 2.5 - 8 X

M 70 Winchester .375 H & H Mag with Leupold 1.75 - 6 X

Any of the above would work fine with proper bullets.

Don't let the spin doctors in the firearms and ammunition industries sales departments hear you, but this is actually about spot on.

The more game I see killed with various firearms the more apparent it becomes that the details matter so little....
