Rimfire Pics...Show em off!!!

This is my steel challenge rifle I built for myself. I decided to take up steel challenge this summer. Obviously it is built with a bunch of stuff we make. The rifle is just over 4 lbs and balances perfectly. I've put about 8000 rounds through it since May. My preferred ammo is Aguila 38 grain cphp. I want to change out the optic for something else since this one has had some problems. Probably an RMR with triangle reticle.

Parts list:
  • Tac Sol X-Ring Barrel
  • SBI Model C-71 Receiver
  • SBI Spectre 10/22 Chassis
  • BX Trigger with some extra work
  • Brownells bolt
  • Magpul MOE stock
  • BX1 10 round mags
  • Vortex Venom 6MOA dot
  • Other misc parts

Checking out the site and it appears the Anschutz 1710 was not posted since the Sightron SIII 36X was won . . . Yes WON!

This was the best 200 M. target from our October shoot . . . measured 3.9 for 20 rounds of Remington Eley Match. The other two targets measured 4.7 and 4.9 with all 60 rounds in the scoring rings.

I have a question regarding a leupold vx-freedom rimfire (SFP) 3-9x40mm. This scope also has a fixed parallax at 60 yards. I would like to shoot up to 200 yards (target shooting) with a 22lr rifle. Would this be a good scope for 200 yard target shooting? I read that the glass quality on leupold's are great, and that it is better to have a good quality glass scope with lower magnification; as opposed to a high magnification scope with a lower quality glass.

Also, there is a leupold vx-freedom (SFP) CDS duplex 3-9x40mm, which had a 150 yard fixed parallax. Can someone please recommend me, which of the two scopes would be ideal for shooting targets at 200 yards? Thank you.

First of all Leupold glass quality is not good, especially vx freedom line.
Secondly you don’t even see a 22lr hole at 200 yard with 9x power.
Lastly you need adjustable parallax and FFP. Don’t go cheap on scope

My Browning T-Bolt Sporter Maple AA 2018 Shot Show Cal 22 Long Rifle with a Leupold Rimfire 2-7X33mm on Talley rings. BTW someone can clearly see 22 holes at 200 yds... ;)

really? I cannot see anything at 200 yard with anything less than 16X power. I even have hard time to see 100 yard holes for <10X power.
just want to double check we are talking about yard here , not feet :D
What kind of eye sight do you have?

Nice rifle, can you come next month to our F class match? We could use a spotter, as many of us with 20-45x scopes have a hard time seeing 22 holes in the black at 100m.

It is as true as saying Leupold scopes are junk... ;)
