Rimfire Pics...Show em off!!!

Rite-on dandy lookin' rig , that 5119 trigger is outstanding .

What is the Leica scope like ?
What reticle ?

Looking forward to next season hey !@?!

I headed to range today and shot SK Biathlon and Long range at both 100 and 50 yards. The results are outstanding. at 50 yards, 3 groups of 5 shots, everytime the bullet went through the same hole.
At 100 yards, the 10-shot group was about 0.8 to 0.9 inch. I was satisfied with the results.

As for the scope the Leica Amplus 3-18 is pretty nice, it has very bright and vibrant color. The field of view is unreal, at lowest magnification 3X, I can see the rifle barrel.
The reticle is BDC MOA, it's Christmas tree type of reticle. I am not very keen to this type of reticle especially with SFP because it's kind of too busy. But it was on-sale a while back, it was $1500 then v.s. $1800 now. So I had to get it. :)

I have another Leica PRS 6-30 sitting on top of my RimX, that scope is even better, it's one of the best scopes I have ever seen (I have seen lots of good glasses such as Khale, Minox, Nightforce), but it's huge and heavy, and not a suitable one for a tiny hunting rifle like this 1712.

Was offered a trade I couldn't turn down on an Ultimatum Deuce. Picked up a KRG Bravo chassis from the guy right above me and an Arken 6-24 from Jerry @ Mystic. After some slight modification for the safety lever to clear the stock, I have a bolt 22 I have no idea what I'm going to do with. Lol. Maybe I'll enter a rimfire PRS match and come in last, who knows.
Hi Scott. Nice Chassis, I recognize this one :)
I feel your rings are a bit too high making the scope far away from the barrel. I would get a pair of lower rings.

Anschutz 1710 HB ES purchased just before Black Friday and the GRS stock during Black Friday. Finally put it together with an MDT 20 MOA rail. Will give it a go this weekend weather permitting. Will soon have an NX8 4-32x50 on it as quickly as Canada Post can deliver.

the SS barrel looks better with GRS than the original stock.

On sale purchase of a T1X. Finally done travelling so set it up and will wait until it is warm to sight in and play with.
Put it in a T3X Roughtech stock with some extra orange. Whole thing weighs 7.5 lbs so a nice light gopher gun that I will not worry about in the field. Put a Burris 4.5-14x42 on and it is light and surprisingly bright.

I know they’re common but I don’t think there are too many new ones kicking around.

That looks awesome. Similar to what I want to put together this spring. Any fitment issues between the bravo and tuff22?

Thanks! The Dlask receiver fits perfect in the aluminum block, tight enough that I wouldn’t be able to bed it if I thought I needed to it but not so tight that it has to be forced in. It was actually so tight that one of the trigger housing pins that Dlask makes/uses was slightly proud and scratched the coating on the chassis “backbone” yet I was barely able to feel it and definitely not an issue with the Hogue it was in previously. My fault for not catching it and it’s a little bare aluminum that’s covered by the receiver so it’s all good.

My only issues with the stock are the short LOP without the additional/optional/pricey spacers or adjustable lop kit and the annoying (and mildly painful) gap between the grip and the trigger. I filled it in using this method https: //youtu.be/cGT_oPnskLk

Thanks for the reply! I have some extra spacers and plan to order the recoil pad with it. Nice to be able to lean the gun against something and not worry about it sliding on the hardwood. Can’t wait to try out a Kidd barrel

My rimfire collection as it stands.

B9-B460-E4-5954-4911-950-C-455-D2-D4097-C3.jpg

1. Savage A22F. Was my first rifle purchase. Modified with a Boyd’s stock (with rubberized target grip and forend). Weaver rail Bushnell Prime 3-12 scope. And a Jared trigger group. Presently wearing a USGI sling as I planning to use this for maple seed in couple weeks. Fun rifle and does well for me with most ammo is utterly reliable and very easy to clean.

2. Ruger/Magpul Backpacker. Purchased to take for range visits via motorcycle and for plinking when I on off-roading trips. Fun little rifle. Added a bx tigger did the auto bolt release mod and added an extended mag release. On top is a super cheap but surprisingly clear 4x32 Simmons scope.

3. 1960 Browning S/A .22. First rifle I have ever owned. Family heirloom. Originally purchased by my grandfather as my mothers 4th b day gift and now passed on to me (destined for my children one day). Stock and presently wearing a vortex 2-7x32 scope I had laying around to try. Mostly this rifle stays set up as iron sights only.

4. CZ 457 Canadian. Just one my favourite rifles to take to range. Setup with Lupold 1” high rings and a 4-16x42 Diamondback HP scope. Presently wearing an Allen sling again as I intend to bring this along to maple seed in case I with to opt for the bolt gun.

5. Henry Frontier .22 Mag. Just a really fun plinker that I so happen to think is really sharp looking. Some how manage to shoot this most accurately off hand at 25 yards of any of my rifles. Don’t think I ever will scope this. I Do want to attempt plinking at 100 yards with this with iron sights as I have yet to try that.

Been reconfiguring the 22 collection and will hold pat with this for awhile.
1) Anschutz 1710 HB ES with GRS Stock
2) CZ 455 Canadian with IBI barrel and KRG stock - the red stock is in the original box keeping it in good shape
3) Tikka T1X in a T3X Roughtech stock with a DIP muzzle brake (did not like the plastic cap)
4) Grey Birch LDR - latest purchase with Zeiss 1-6
All ready for gopher season

Can’t beat the Henry’s for plinking out in the bush!
Great collection
