That's a really nice set up and I hope it does well for you. I wouldn't exactly call them lasers but they are decent shooters and quality traditional sporters like the 1710 are hard to come by in these "modern" times.
Hey propliner , one Beauty of a rifle , not much nicer than 1710
and SS ...
5119 Trigger ?
Allan , nice Tiger stripe..
Now that is cool!
LibDP be droppin he ban hammer on that for sure.
Hello. Yes, 5119 trigger on this one. It was the main selling point for me.
Did you add a picatinny rail on top of the rail?
I have an incoming exactly same rifle , and I have a 11mm dovetail EAW medium size rings with a Leica amplus 3-18 scope to be mounted to it.
I’m not sure if the clearance is enough or should order the rail and rings together to lift the scope a bit up.
I personally want to have the scope sit as low as possible, and prefer to not have any extra parts unless absolutely necessary
Yeah I really like the stock. I saw the pictures Brad sent to me before purchasing. But the stock is actually a tad bit darker than it looks in the picture and the strips in the pattern is more subtle. I really love the feeling of this stock and smoothness of the bolt movement.Nice setup! Any problems with bipod mounting on a Schnabel forend?
That's a sweet looking rig. How's the accuracy?
No idea, I just put it together last night, and it's the coldest it has been today since the 1800s, lol. -33c, won't be out shooting for a bit. Maybe in the new year I'll take it out and see how it does.
