how is this legal in canada and is it restricted. and is it semi auto?

Forgot all about this one. Been having feed problems with it, feed pawl tries to pull the cartridges in cockeyed for some reason. Going to bring it to a smith to check it out.

Restricted due to being mounted on an AR lower, semi auto, though at the moment more like a single shot.

Here are some more pics of it, and what is going wrong.

How the loading and feeding process should work. Top cover left open for clarity.

#### handle once, feed pawl pulls the belt over and into position for the extractor to pull the cartridge out of the belt and into the T slot.

Cartridge is extracted from belt and fed downwards into the T slot, ready to be inserted into the chamber.

As bolt is returning forward, the feed pawl pulls the belt back into position. (There is an S shaped track on the top of the bolt, and the feed pawl is connected into this to achieve the lateral movement.

Back into battery and ready to fire. This cycle will repeat, and empty casings will be pushed down the T slot by the next cartridge and will fall out the bottom of the magwell.

Here is what mine is doing for some reason. The rounds are being pulled at the rear, but are hanging up on something, causing them to go sideways and jam. This is 100% of the time with any ammo I try, even from the first loading position, so it has to do with the feed pawl and extractor, not the chamber or anything else. I am going to see if my gunsmith can take a look at it to see what is going on.

Now, back to being serious, thank you for the pictures Kevin. Have you tried a different belt? That's the only thing I could think of trying different. Maybe polishing any place the bullets touch.

I have 5 belts, same story with each.

I have a feeling that the spring pressure or tolerances are a touch too tight around the feed pawl area, causing it to bind up when the belt is advancing.

an attempt at an AWC Amphibian S clone... included a Volquartzen MK II 2 lb trigger mod (the Mark III mag disconnect was the first thing to go;)) that included adjustable pre and post trigger travel , a beer can trigger shield mod, filed back the extended bolt release to make it more comfortable and lowered the front sight.
