This started life as a Lee-Metford .303 but was converted into a single shot .22lr trainer for the British Royal Navy and accepted into service around 1912. It's a great shooter and I've enjoyed it immensely.

This is my Winchester Model 99 "thumb trigger." Approximately 75,433 of these were made from 1904 to 1923 according to the Blue Book of Gun Values (30th Edition).
