Just in case anyone is wondering what the black and FDE XCRs look like with an upper/lower swap.

Got my fast stock... for those on the fence, some observations:
Sling mounting officially sucks, but I kind of knew that - like stevo said, there is a QD swivel attachment at the bottom of the adapter and a SMALL hole on the side. I'm worried that trying to run a swivel on the bottom will cause the rifle to be unable to be slung in the "patrol" position comfortably because the sling won't be attached on the side. (try slinging a traditional hunting rifle in this manner to see what I am talking about) WTF Rob arms? it would have just as easy to put the QD hole on the side of the stock and have it ambidextrous.
The folding mechanism is a little shaky when in the regular "shooting position" - duct tape firmed it up. Going to try backing one of the two screws that holds the stock to the mechanism (for changing mounting height) out so it "bumps" against the receiver or adding a third.
For the mall ninjas that want to shoot with it folded, I hope you are a lefty. It's very difficult to hold with your right and work the trigger with it folded.
No real weight gain, balances the gun better IMHO.
The stock is a solid option, these are just my observations, YMMV for what you want it to do, but for now, the stock remains on my rifle...(until I find a ACR stock w/adapter)

I've run it with a BFG Vickers sling attached at the rear QD and a sling loop on the LH rail. No issues with mounting the rifle to the shoulder. The QD location actually seems to make transitions to the weak shoulder easier, provided you've got enough slack in the sling.

did 300rds of surplus and 50 rds of hornady without a single hitch gun ran on on setting 2 fired 50rnds on 4 .....i paint marked the screws none moved and a side not 2" groups were easy with the hornadt ammo with a red dot
i think i might have the side rails milled off to slim it down

I've got some Sako 7.62x39 surplus I've been saving. Might have to see if it will shoot as good the Hornady in yours.
Otherwise, mines a 3" gun at 100m with whatever surplus I shoot. It will run on setting 1 with Chinese surplus when it's warm out. Seems to need a bit more gas when it's below zero, though.

Well I rejoined the XCR ownership team after selling my old skelenton stocked 2nd gen in .223 to fund the purchase of an RFB. Missed it the day I shipped it so I grabbed a new model in 7.62 and a .223 conversion. Runs like the champ I knew it would. Really impressed with the FAST stock. First time I saw it I kind of just shrugged it off as I already had a M4 stock conversion on my old rifle but now after owning and shooting it for awile now I'm really digging the FAST stock and it will be staying on the rifle for sure.
If the mags are pinned right at 5 rounds (or 10 for a pistol mag) you may need to trim the followers to allow for 5.5 or 10.5 rounds if you want them to fit with a closed bolt.
