Ruger PC Carbine

Shot mine today. I really like it. Sights and trigger are good. Zero problems. Used cheap Winchester Forged USA steel case (not steel projectile) ammo, and had zero malfunctions.

I also tested it using Norinco NP22 mags. Simply inserted and rested the mag on my palm to shoot. Functioned 100%. Shot off two mags that way. I suspect CZ mags would work as well. Just need to come up with a home edm machine to make the square hole at the front of the mag and continue to use the Ruger mag well. It would be great to be able to use whatever 9mm mag I happen to have on me at the time.

The other day I was wondering whether or not I could get a buddy to try and 3D print a sig 226 magwell for one. Been looking at these hard for a while.

You are making this way more complicated than it needs to be. EDM machine not required.

I apologize for not going over the 9 pages of posts but I believe someone asked if there were Red Dot sights that would co-witness. with the PCC irons. I just bought the Vortex Crossfire 2 Red Dot with a 2MOA. With the AR stand it fully co-witnesses. This is the way I mounted it. It will if you mount it on the lower base I think. Certainly 1/3 co-witness I would think. The sight has a couple of nice features. First you turn on the sight using the same knob you set the brightness on rather than having to push a rubber pin. the battery on the mid range setting is supposed to last 50,000 rds which means it should last me the rest me a very long time - about 17 years if I use it 8 hours a day, every day of the year at the middle setting. I might not make itbut the sight might. LOL

Take Care

Although I liked the factory package, I wanted pistol grip. I was considering the new Ruger, but they removed the iron sights, which I also want. I picked up a Midwest Industries Chassis. I got it a few days ago and like it quite a bit. Magpul K2 grip which I shaved down to fit, chassis not for beaver tail grips.

They started that sale back in December, and before they dropped the price they were still only $679(what I bought mine for), still took them a while to sell out

What are people paying for a new PCC these days?

Sry, I got the 2nd last one at Rangeviewsports 2 weeks ago.... one of my best buys. 639.99 + ship + gst. excellent pistol carbine platform. Great workmanship, runs slick. Uses my Glock mags. Light G96 and 500 thru it in a flash, it rawks. A great little carbine.

Sorry if I'm late to the party and asking stupid questions but the Midwest Industries Chassis does not come with a hand guard? Thanks

Is that longer than 26" in that state?
