Russian SKS45 long thread.

Not crazy because you are buying from China or something about the quality? My Norinco SKS is solid and I haven't been able to get a FTF of any sort.

No, they work fine. It's because they're from China. I hate the sight of Made in China on any manufactured product.
As for the girls, different story...:dancingbanana:

I really don't know why it's taking so long for the SKS rifles to come in. We have quite a few customers waiting for them. From what I know, all the SKS rifles we've ordered into our warehouse haven't arrived yet. They are being held in a warehouse at the border. Customs won't let them through.... don't know why. I'll go as my supervisor what's going on.... I know, we're disappointed too....

Above is the E-mail I received today from SIR

so this email doesnt look like an official email sent to all the SKS customers.

This is the email I got from SIR:

Good morning. We are very sorry for the delay. The problem with these guns, is that we cannot get them to our warehouse at this time. We have been waiting for them as many customers have ordered these guns. However, they are being held up in a warehouse and customs will not let them through yet. I am unsure of the reason why. So, everybody has to wait for these guns.... oh, customs. *shakes head* We do hope to get them here soon. Soon, meaning, before the year ends. Again, we are very sorry for the inconvenience. Thanks again for choosing Cabela's Canada. Feel free to contact us whenever you want, just in case things change on our end. Have a great day!

is this similar to the small shipment that went to frontier ? could it be 100? 200?

Let me guess... white guy with yellow fever? lol. No problem.
I don't like Norinco stuff either. Sure, they probably shoot well, and they're sold at a tempting price... but I like buying my firearms from their country of origin.
I hate the "made in china" stamp too... it makes it look like a toy that fires real bullets.
 
SKS's are supposed to be coming in at the end of Nov

The sks's are supposed to be coming in at the end of Nov.
I'm not sure where the email our other customer came from but as far as we know we are still getting them.
