Here are some shots of my first SKS that I picked up from Milarm in Edmonton. I am NOT a photographer, obviously.

I forgot something from my last post. From Milarm I received some "bonus" gear...three leather pouches, sling or strap, bottle of oil, and some sort of black spring / tube. I have no idea what any of this is for. I am going to bed now, but I will try and get pics up tomorrow of everything.
If you don't mind me asking, which Milarm grade of SKS is that one? Nice rifle BTW.

black spring / tube. ??? Are you talking about the tool kit tube????

Got to love Can post . Yours says 22 mine says 26 . Takes 4 extra days from Edm to BC
LOL .
----- 26th, at the end as well there, TeaPot, ------- But , Hey, --- its getting closerI guess lot's of snow in the Mountains - hard to cross. Can post closed 24 and 25 So most likely it will be at your area on 23 Friday but they wouldn't bother for the delivery untill Monday morning which is 26.
I'd love to develop a precision '7.62x39' rig, if that's possible, lol. I know it won't get out far, but it would be fun to piss with.
Not with an SKS you won't. They are NOT know for accuracy. I have seen bolt rifles chambered in 7.62x39 that were quite accurate.

I wasn't talking about the SKS, hence the discussion on the Norc bushmaster and that Ruger carbine.![]()
. My friend said he had a CZ bolt rifle in x39 that shot sub-moa & was an excellent deer rifle. He traded it away on another deal, but wishes he still had it. He still has a bunch of x39 boxer brass that I must try to get from him.
