S&W M&P 15-22 report

I have done some research on various forums. I don't want to bend anything on a brand new rifle. It seems that that there are a bunch of things that get changed to fix this issue, including springs and the extractor.
One thing I did learn was that I should have bought the rifle at my regular store rather than buying it online to save the PST. I'm pretty sure they would have taken care of the warranty claim for me.

i took mine out for the first time. using federal bulk ammo. so far im really happy with this purchase. 600 rounds 3 FTE's, accuracy is very good out of the box! 25 round rapid (tried it 3 times) without FTE or FTF. other than being short on magazine (have one only) i havnt experienced any problems other than those 3 FTE's. Its so accurate didnt even bother trying my scope! time to get more mags!!!

i guess its a hit or miss at this time. its either you get a good one or a lemon. maybe wait for sometime till the suppliers get the "upgraded" version.

I am definitely interested in this rifle. I'll keep an eye on this thread before I make my decision to buy.

went to the range today and fed aboud 400 rounds thru the smith and wesson.

i had only 2 FTF..i had cleaned and oiled the rifle and i'm really impressed.

anyone know where i can pick up some magazines? a store that actually have it and not "yes we have it but its back order" got hit twice with this crap already and im still waiting! preferably a shop in the vancouver area.

I want one of thes guns so hopefully by the time I'm ready to purchase it will all be sorted out ... ps, is there a non-restricted equivalent looking/style .22lr out there?

Would be cool to plink in the bush instead of at a range

I still don't understand why this gun is restricted. Is this gun that closely related to an AR15? Isn't the AR15 gas operated and this gun is blowback? I know, I know, it is what it is but damnnnnn these gun laws don't make sense.
Sorry, not trying to throw this thread off but it is annoying knowing that this gun is only limited to the range.
