S&w M&p Ar-15

jobbass, I'd be happy to place the orders for you. However, in this case the application will have a non-refundable fee.

You'll either get a rifle or you get the export license application as returned if rejected by the US DOS. If your license is approved, you direct us to the shop and we'll have it shipped to our US address, to us and to your door. If it's rejected (and I happen to agree with your dealers that this will be the case, it's what S&W CDN distributor says as well), we'll keep the $ and send you proof that your dealers aren't lying to you.

Honest, friendly offer. Let me know and I'll send you the paperwork listing yourself as the named end user. We'll want the $ up front though! :)

Why would dealers of anything refuse business?

PS: This isn't a general offer! Just the SW M&P-15 or M&P 15T model.
PPS: I really don't want to take your money for this. But if it helps remove your suspicion about your local dealers, it might be worth it. ;)

Cheers,
DT

You'll either get a rifle or you get the export license application as returned if rejected by the US DOS. The application/handling fee would be $250. Let me rectify something here.

I did not say that the dealers are lying to me but so far no one told me what so special about S&W MP 15 T that they can't ordered.the only think they said it is the state department.

You as the exclusive dealers of Stag arms you would know what could be the problem.

Today I know few gun store have new in a box 10.5",11.5" , 14.7" barrel, they also carry collapsable stock(6 positions), so once again what is so special about S&W MP 15 T.

Thanks.

I had thought I read you say that you think your dealers in Ontario won't order it for you because they want to sell what's in their shop, and are hiding behind the 'DOS excuse' as their reason? To me, that read that you think they're lying to you. If I'm incorrect I apologize, I might have misread that.

As to what's special about the MP15, the only way I could answer that with complete accurate knowledge would be to read the notes on a rejected license. I'd ask the S&W distributor, seriously.

What brand of 10.5"/11.5"/14.7" rifle is for sale in your shop?

Cheers.

Please go to www.questar.ca web page and under AR deals there is the whole listing . Hope that helps.

We had a LE app for a 6920 sent back by DOS recently because the officers letter wasn't on the correct letterhead. Anything past that is out of my level of knowledge. I'm sorry.

Beleive me , I don't know the answer to the question.

I am just trying to find a logical explanation.

Finally I have the answer as to why we do not have

SMITH-WESSON M&P 15 Rifle in CANADA.

The problem is not The State Department,

The problem is SMITH-WESSON USA not applying for an export licence, because they think the amount of rifles being sold in CANADA will be minimal.

So if any one is interested in the M&P 15 , just start Emailing SMITH-WESSON USA and ask them nicely to apply for an export licence and you would buy one.

Thank you.

No thanks! Not interested in paying an extra $400 for a S&W laser engraved logo when I can buy the equivalent or better product in Canada already.

So in your opinions, which AR 15 sold in CANADA is equivalent (I did not say AS GOOD AS) or superior to Smith & Wesson AND $400 cheaper.

Thanks.

The S&W was being produced by STAG arms. S&W is now producing their receivers in house as well as other components. STAG, RRA, Armalite, Busmaster, are all good names and should run around the same coin(around $1500 give or take).

ETA: Questar might still have LMT rifles on for the same coin as well.

I can tell you that we did have an export permit for the S&W M&P AR's back when they were originally released... we never had a single inquiry for one and never ended up ordering any. That permit expired (I'd estimate 3 to 5 months ago) and we applied for a renewal... the renewal was rejected by US State Department a few months ago.

I can tell you from 1st hand direct knowledge that US State Department specifically denied export permit for commercial resale of any model of S&W M&P AR Rifle (all variations).

Simple as that. State Department is slowly tighening up and denying more and more AR export permits. As old permits expire or get used up, renewals are getting tougher and tougher to get... the problem is going to get worse not better.

I know S&W are now assembling the M&P inhouse, but are you sure that they're manufacturing theie own receivers or components?

I'm not saying your wrong (or that they couldn't, etc), but can you point to the source of this info?

Cheers,
DT

Does anyone know if what the price of a US export permit is worth? Would Questar import this for you?? If the permit is cheap why wouldn't a company like Smith and Wesson get one? As far as I know the MP pistols were a hit here, I know I have one.
