S&W M&P pro 5" a total dud?

The higher sights on the CORE allow them to be seen through the optic. Could be important if a battery powered optic were to fail. Otherwise they are independent sighting systems.
On a Glock MOS, the sights cannot be seen through the optic; too low. In the event of a failure of the optic, no sights.

What is interesting is to have a laser and a dot optic on a sight. Two dots in the sight picture.

Glad that you are dealing with an outstanding business like Wolverine. I am sure they will look after the situation.

I have personally witnessed accuracy issues in a couple M&P Pro pistols. Enough so to turn me off from ever buying one. I thought it was resolved as well but looks like that may not be the case. Something tells me the shooter is not the problem.

The fired case from this one was from Feb '14. I thought they had too, I didn't expect to recommend a lemon to a first time shooter. I hope this doesn't kill her enthusiasm...

How much experience do you have with striker fired pistols.

Going from a single action to a striker fired pistol usually takes a few hundred rounds to get used to.

Never a good choice if accuracy is the goal IMHO.

Its usually the shooter. You have to get used to it. I own and shoot pro core. But when I shot my buddy's USP im all over the place.

Yup. There are of course lemons or bad worksmanship among any product, but 9 times out of 10 it is the shooter and not the gun. People who jump from one gun to another, especially from a target style or different action firearm to another, like a duty gun, and instantly expect exactly the same functionality/results, are perhaps expecting too much.

I couldn't agree more most of the time. I've had a few striker fired guns, 3 G17s, 1 G22, M&P vtac, P30l, and a FNS 40l, maybe a few others and never had an issue. I completely agree with changing guns, but after finding the sweet spot on the trigger and especially sand bagging it I never get groups that big unless something's up.

Yours could be that one out of 10, for sure. Have you taken a close look at the internals? Barrel rifling, etc?
