I have. Results above.
Literally 1 shot out of the 6 chrono’d wasn’t the exact same velocity.
Perfect. Now increase the neck tension or crimp them.

Been there. Done that. Load goes to absolute ####. Kinda like your example.
I load and shoot a lot too.
Perfect. Now increase the neck tension or crimp them.
I'll test some more. But not with a handgun.
No worriesSorry trapoholic
Reloder 16I'm not meaning to argue but I have issues with guys speaking in absolute terms. None has even said what powders they are using but you say neck tension or crimp doesn't affect ballistics. Based on... Your little bit of testing?? With how many powders? Which powders?
Reworking as we speakTo the OP, if your old load was towards the end of a node, new powder and or brass may put you behind or ahead of the shooting node and into a scatter node. Just retest.
So you're using two different lot numbers of the same brass with two different charge weights and getting the same accuracy and velocity? Am I interpreting that correctly?
Wanna fight?Just get a 270
Seriously thinking about buying lapua brass. I want consistency every time, not sometimes.Does Lapua make brass for 30-06?
If yes, use Lapua.
If no, switch to a different cartridge.
