well..... the late salmon runs in the fraser valley are happening right now so it's a good time to get out to the small creeks feeding off the harrison and chilliwack rivers , or if yer brave, hike up american, emory or ainslee creeks. Set up a pile of game cams and see what happens.
Rumor has it that sasquatch lives up along the alpine, below the goats, above the people and deer. But he comes down this time of year to catch salmon and take them up to the freezing line to preserve them for winter food in his cave. They like the caves connected to the ancient thermal vents that were formed when the volcanos in the area were still active. It's why the chilliwack/skagit/mt baker region is most likely.... as is the ancient volcanic belt north of harrison and stave ect.
I'm kinda joking but I'm not. Mt goats, elk, moose, grizzly bears and wolves .... all inhabit the same mt ranges that surround the fraser valley but are extremely rarely sighted by humans who inhabit and recreate on the crown land in the region. I've seen something up the chilliwack valley that has had me scratchin my head and it would not surprise me in the least to find that one day they are discovered to be real. Rare, but real. What I saw was right there in front of me and my youngest sons uncle, viewed clearly and unobstructed. All I can say is bear don't run like people..... and Ian.... well he became a city boy thru n thru, guy won't go fishing, camping , nothing since that day. LOL
