Savage 10TR le/military

Just a note, I was on the cabelas site drooling on the hs .338 and along with the free shipping deal, a savage $100 rebate deal popped up for Feb, on 10/110 le style rifles!!

I am looking at a nighforce 5.5-22x56. Anyone have a idea witch nightforce rings i should use for my 10tr?

Also will the new savage 10 round mag work with this gun?

Yes there is, and swapping the barrel on these is breeze as long as you make sure to check headspace after.

Well i just put a nightforce 5.5-22x50 moar-t with moa turrets on layaway! I am super excited. This will be my first precision rig and first expensive scope.
 
My Tac21 came in :)

Magpul PRS butt on it. Harris bipod. I have a Vortex Viper HST 6-24x50mm for it, but need to pick up new rings now. Was a perfect fit with the accustock.... now too low with the Tac21 :p

Looks great! Hope you post a pic with the scope, all complete. I've ordered the pro-varmint stock from Boyds, hope it looks half as good as yours.

Don't forget to post a range report after you have had it out for a spin!

Thank you. I've had a hankering for a new stock for a while.... and found a great company to deal with that had them in for a great price and caved. Planned on doing just the LSS originally! Toyed with CDI DBM as well, but in the end, this seemed the most cost effective to get 10 round mags in and not paying a first born child for a magazine.

Will do. Ive done all my shooting with it to date without the brake. That just came in as well (still not even aligned yet). Excited to get out to the range next week and put it through its paces. Then next month, a PR course :)!!!
