Savage bolt lift kit

The Savage 334 has a 60 degree bolt lift but I've never seen a 90 to 60 conversion for other models.

I've only seen bolt lift kits that change the amount of effort needed to operate the bolt.

Do you have a link to this kit ?

The 334 is a Turkish made gun with the Savage name slapped on it. It's unrelated to other Savage models.

Maybe I missed it when I took a quick look but those appear to reduce the weight or resistance for the bolt lift, but not how many degrees it needs to rotate?

Savages are known for heavy bolt lift, reducing the rotation would only make that worse....

I heard at the cofee shop that all owners of rifles chambered in 6.5 creedmor are asking for kits to reduce the bolt lift effort
as well as lighter springs in the safety lever
and softer recoil pads

RJ ?

Suther is correct, the Savage Model 334 is made by Turqua, indeed a Turkish made firearm, a very well made firearm I might ad.....:)

He is also correct that these kits only reduce the amount of force that is required to lift the bolt. It doesn't change the 90 degree lift at all.

Remington Jim, can you chime in here! Maybe this was a mistake or a misunderstanding with the person who stated this.

Okay, someone needs to enlighten me on the 6.5 Creedmoor jokes.

What started this, and why? If the jokes are all in fun then it's very funny indeed! Where does the man-bun thing come from? I must have missed that day at drug school Cheech! LOL

For the record, the 6.5 Creedmoor has less recoil than a 243 Winchester, excellent ballistic coefficient and the ones I have fired are absolute tack drivers. The 6.5 Creedmoor kills 1200 pound Zebra stallions and huge Sable stags like lightning. Also drops elk in their tracks at 420 yards, I have video to prove this.

So what did I miss on the 6.5 Creedmoor roast?.......:)

I come up with zilch same as all the others.
Please post a link to enlighten us.
If your Savage rifle requires a lot of effort to #### and close the bolt, our Savage Bolt Lift Kit, by Desh Industries, will reduce that effort considerably. This Bolt Lift kit uses a special thrust bearing and a spacer for the BAS screw. Addition of this kit reduces the friction and reduces the bolt lift by 20% to 30%, or in some cases as much as 50%.

Doesn't change the angle of the throw, just the effort to throw it.
When it says reduces by 20% it means effort not angle

I was looking for one that required less throw too. Can’t find anything.
As for the less effort. I’m not sure it reduced effort all that much. But in my acid bolt I replaced the split wire ring washer thing. With 2 filed down washers and is way smoother. The way it was before felt like it was grinding most of the time
