SBI Ruger 10/22 Magazine Adapter

Just curious if anyone has tried this adaptor on a Bergara BXR.

Any reviews on this new adapter?

I have the polymer one and find it that it works ok and am interested in this aluminium one.

Pretty much functions the same but I feel more comfortable using an aluminum one. Feels like there's less chance of it breaking. If you got the money to spare for it, why not I say.

Can someone describe to me how these work? Mainly, how are mag changes done? Do I still use the rifles mag release, would the adapter come out with every mag change, or is there a built in mag release in this adapter some how?

Would these work in a 10/22 that has been modified to use the HCmag from Dlask?

Thanks

The adapter has a built in magazine release button on the left side. The adapter just clicks into the rifle. It will work with any 10/22 receiver including the TUF22 and receivers modified to take TUF22 magazines.

We've had a number of emails asking when ProMag 597 mags will be back. We have them on order, but don't have an ETA.

That said, any plans in the future to make adapters for some other common 22lr magazines? ex. GSG's, CZ457, savage 64. I only ask because of the reliability issues 597 magazines.

The issues with 597 magazines are mostly related to the rifle and not the magazine. Other magazines simply don't work with the 10/22 feed geometry, we tried nearly all of them.

ProMags work great.
