My FT had a pinned one. I had to dremel the pin out.

Gotcha! Doesn't look like theres much choice, things seem quite set in their ways lol.

Actually a response I just saw elsewhere said its the early ones that are least likely to be pinned? The 1963 I am lookin at now definitely is

I broke two punches trying to drive the pin out, it didn't budge. Only Dremel helped.

A 1/16" may or may not have just met its end Could try giving it a kroil soak but that wasn't encouraging haha.
