The whole idea if I reman a part for my gun will make it safer is rediculas.I agree. The 5 round mag limitation is FAR more irritating than the RCMP making me manufacture a new mag well housing.

No collector's value altered here - look up higher in this thread for a pic of the kit I'm robbing for parts. It's a 1970's Canadian Army LB Sten that was torch-cut completely in two when dewatted and left to rust for a while before being sold as scrapIf anything, I'm SAVING it.

I'm not sure how you'd fit a semi-auto selector to a Sten? I do know the original Sten suppressor wouldn't take much in the way of FA fire.Actually from the historical aspect, the SOE Sten MkII(S) was fitted with a semi-auto only selector any way
