[SFRC] Scorpio Bolt Action .22s on theammosource.com

It has been a few years since i ordered from sfrc, just ordered 2 scorpio's on the weekend . How long does it usually take to fill the orders? I am in no hurry but will be away for a week and trying to plan a pick up at post office.
It could be 24 hours or it could be a week. You'll be emailed a tracking # when they go out. It all depends on how many items are a head of it and which warehouse it is shipping from. When we have a sale it sometimes takes things longer to get out do to the large amount of orders that come in.

Ordered last Wednesday and arrived yesterday. I thought I ordered the 13 inch but actually ordered the 20 inch. My fault but arrived quick and in good condition. Any extra mags for these?
Edit: Found the mags and have three more on the way. Actually, really happy now that I ordered the wrong one as I really like the sights on this one and it looks to be a solid rifle. Going to the range today and will update on functionality. Happy Happy.

Took my 20 inch to the range and it was very accurate out to 50 yrds. I was getting 1-inch groups with the open sights, just a bit low and left with Golden Bullets. Did not have screwdriver on me to adjust the sights, will do next time I am out. Bolt action is still a little sticky but should smooth out. Also note, my rifle was NOT covered in oil like I have heard here about previous ones. It was lightly oiled but not dripping. Still getting used to thumb stock, not sure if I like it or not.....to be determined. For the price, I am very satisfied with this purchase and may just buy the shorty, which is what I originally thought I had ordered.

I find that the stock has a natural thumb rest at the top and treat it as a vertical grip.

YES, that is what I found myself doing too. :)

If you use ups, it is hard to contact someone to change delivery, hiwever the lad who just dropped mine off,( 3rd attemp) gave me a little lifesaver info. On the back of the notice, there is a spot for you to sign and they will accept that and leave the parcel,,, which is good as long as you live in an area you trust.

I have used links provided by ups to change delivery. They charge a $2 fee and it works

Mine arrived yesterday, way nicer gun then the Norinco JW-15A Compact Hiker, arrived with lightly oiled bolt, no rough machining marks and sharp edges, not covered in grease (the grease is a pain but understandable).

The bolt handle is bent down nicely to clear optics, the bolt knob is large and positive feeling, comes with a full length picatinny rail that while a bit tight to slide on... is not going anywhere!

The stock might be ugly looking but it feels good and the over all weight is noticeably lighter then the JW-15A, likely due to the stock.

Barrel is threaded for accessories which while not a necessity is a bonus in case we ever see improvements and common sense around suppressors in the future!

I haven't shot it much yet but testing out some CCI quiets I was impressed with the accuracy using a 1-4 powered scope.

Trigger has a hair of creep but it's already smoothing out with some use and some old school dry firing "under mild tension to the striker"using a spent case in the chamber. Another nice feature is the safety locks the bolt handle and it can be locked cocked or uncocked which is not typical.

I like being able to lock the bolt handle as I've had bolts snag on branches in the past and open up when bushwacking.

Sweet gun at a great price!

One other bonus, the combo trigger locks I like to use fit perfectly on the trigger gaurd.... a small thing but something that I appreciate.... I can't find a single thing I dislike so far and if the accuracy I'm seeing with the CCI quiet's so far translates over to my favorite bulk ammo It will be even better!

Finally got back to range with screwdriver to adjust sights. This is my first group at 50 yrds with irons. Not bad for these old eyes. Might not put scope on it after all. Couple of fliers but I am happy. So far only about 100 rounds through it and no issues.
