I can make it out of any wood or plastic you'd ever want to use.I'm sure people will be interested, what type of stock material do you like to use?
These little .22lr's are just begging for a minimalist back packer type stock.
How about I just make you a walnut one and you dont have to deal with customs and a 25% tarrif? Did you see the one I made already? For someone who thinks the stock on this rifle is dumb and wanted to get a Boyd’s walnut or laminate sock for it, what Anschutz model would you order the stock for?
Did you click the link? youre the first and only person to ever have extraction issues. Are you running the bolt fast enough?are they still in stock? Years ago I had the one with the longer barrel. Shot fine but ejection was very weak and often cases stayed in the loading port. Had to shake it out for the next round. My boys didn't like that rifle. I liked the CZs for the reliability and positive ejection. How do these new ones, especially the short barreled X models performing in that area?
As i mentioned, this was a scorpio bought years ago, 10 or so, one of the first batches that started appearing. The rifle i bought back then had ejection issues, weak ejection to be preciese. I suspect the new units have these issues hopefully resolved. Sounds like they have.Did you click the link? youre the first and only person to ever have extraction issues. Curiously, that is exactly what I did, including the low Rifleman rings, they're the perfect height for that scope/rail.I'm looking forward to getting mine and I'm going to put a Bushnell Trophy 4-12x40AO on it with low Leupold Rifleman rings.
Should make a fun little plinker!
Good to know! I was guessing the low rings would work as I figure the rail already lifts the scope up quite a bit.Curiously, that is exactly what I did, including the low Rifleman rings, they're the perfect height for that scope/rail.

Have you shot yours yet? Impressions?
Will be interesting to see where I need to position the scope for eye relief... Fingers crossed I don't have to run out & get another set of rings, but thank you for back up suggestion with the Weaver Quad Loc Low rings! Some lows are lower than others.
I found Leupold Rifleman low to be to low and the objective end rubbed the rail after the eye relief was set.
I picked up a set of Weaver Quad Loc Low and they are just a hair higher and a good fit.
How did everyone find snapping that rail on ?
I used 2 large 'C' clamps and blocks of wood.
It's tricky due to tight tolerances, I had read earlier that one member here had to file his dovetail a hair to get things started, but the rail is designed to slide into place from the front towards the rear, the fact you have to start the "mating" process in two spots due to the interrupted nature of the design for the ejection port also makes it a bit trickier! Some lows are lower than others.

LOL, you're in for a treat.snapping the rail in? Pray tell!!! Need details, confused!
I remember seeing a picture of one of your previous ones that you said you won a competition with. Was that the short or long barrel model? I’m curious if one would be more accurate than the other?Mines ordered - this'll be the third I've gone through. Returned the JW15.
No mags on ebay.
I intend to make another stock. Would anyone else be into buying an inletted blank you can then carve to your desire?
Something like this, but I can make the butt stock more traditional.
