Just some bulk Rem Golden bulletsLooks like a good start smokeater! Hoepfuly as the barrel seasons it will get even better!
What ammo were you using?
Looks like a sweet set up. This is what I thought I was ordering, but my skills on the web were lacking and I ordered the long barrel by mistake and guns are non-returnable or exchangeable, so I am stuck. Well not really stuck, it is a fine rifle, and I do appreciate the iron sights. I believe ALL rifles should have irons, even if you want to put a scope on them. These are great little guns.
Highly recommended.
I topped mine off with a Bushnell Elite 4200 3-9x40 in Weaver Brand Low Aluminum rings with a Caldwell Bipod for bench support.
Great service from SFRC.

Right on, I was hoping you were shooting bulk....Just some bulk Rem Golden bullets
I like iron's as well, specially peep sights, that said today's micro red dot's with battery life measured in years, and also the micro prismatic optics that are very rugged and work well with or without power.... I don't mind a compact rifle with no front sight to get snagged on things.Looks like a sweet set up. Keep us posted on accuracy with the shorter barrel as I may need to pick one up and make a set.
I find many "young ones" have 3d printers these days.... it would be a pretty easy project to make a front sight that clamps on to the barrel and then run a peep sight at the back of the rail.... make a quick prototype with an extra tall front sight blade and shorten it to fit on the range.Got mine, they are very cool, well built, worth the small wait, the young uns will love them,,, who am I kidding I love them, great little pack guns too but need iron sights for that, although could get flip ups for the rail maybe?
I'm sure people will be interested, what type of stock material do you like to use?Mines ordered - this'll be the third I've gone through. Returned the JW15.
No mags on ebay.
I intend to make another stock. Would anyone else be into buying an inletted blank you can then carve to your desire?

Maybe search the forums, it's been mentioned a few times and from what I can remember there is a stock that is "close" to the right fit but is not the right fit and would require hand inletting and hand fitting. For someone who thinks the stock on this rifle is dumb and wanted to get a Boyd’s walnut or laminate sock for it, what Anschutz model would you order the stock for?
