They are level 1 matches.
A match with 90 rounds is also a level 1
I must also warn you, if you come to Alliston for our little level I match you need to bring 2x45 plus extra in case.![]()
No, that's meets the requirements for a level 2, check your rules. Why would I have a 90 round level 1 when I could have a 90 round level 2. That makes no sense.
Peter, the difference is Sharon has bigger range then Alliston and they are running smaller matches.
Like you said, it is not worth the drive for me. Actually I don't think Alliston worth the drive for me either, because I don't think that putting many targets on such a small range makes sense. There should be a balance. Obviously it is all different for people who live closer.
the price of gas dictates where I will shoot now. If it's worth it then I go.check the online sign up you will see matches of 90 round and listed as a level 1![]()
So what...
I'd rater shoot 45 quality rounds...that 90 rounds of...plant my feet...shoot 8 rounds...move to the right...plany my feet...shoot 8 rounds...yada yada yada...
It's not total rounds...it's total quality rounds...
The quality of the match is not deteremined by the total number of rounds...anything to the contarary is just watering down the sport.

so your telling me that most high round matches are poorly set up
So, what you've got now? 2 standing speed shots and a field or medium course?
We saw 3 good medium courses (almost field courses) fit at the first range in Sharon in the past. Then the round count would be over 60...
