Sheep Hunting Supreme !!

It was a fall day. The day had been anticipated for months. It was finally here.
There was no need for spotting scopes, super duper binos and the like, we knew the rams were there and we were ready.

We had a plan and we followed through. Take him in the trees.

We waited on an old familiar sheep path and sure enough, like clockwork they speedily walked down the trail.

One shot from the 30-30 and it was all over. Then the work begins.

The memories will last a lifetime. The video is watched every year around sheep hunting time, now with my own children. It is something to behold, something spectacular.

I wish a moment like this for everyone.....

The sheep didn't seem to be wary of men.
And the southern accent makes me think it was a ranch hunt.
But I've been wrong before...

WTF ! That cannot be real. Even a canned hunt isn't that sad. A fricken quad drives in front of the shooter seconds before a group of stupid goats walks along a path. Then they just stand around and mill about.


That was the saddest most pathetic thing I've seen.

WTF??? That was sad. A domestic animal being pushed to the shooter by a guy on a quad, and then calling it ram hunting. I appreciate introducing young hunters to the sport, but this was no sport. How very depressing for the hunting community.
