If Jerry said he did it, he did it. - dan
I am not saying he did not do it.....Hell we hit a 5 gallon pail at 1500 Meters with a 308 once....
you guys need a 4wheeler or my Jeep to run your targets how did you range you rock you aimed at?
Count me VERY impressed. I went out to 2000 yds with a .243 in a crosswind and the windage was just impossible. Bullets were landing all over the place with no consistency even though they should have been still supersonic. The bullets landed in a nice tight cluster that could be covered by one of the dots on my reticle.
Bush Man, I am looking into getting a camera adapter for my Pentax spotting scope. Was alot easier then I thought. Big problem is no digi camcorder. Pretty expensive too. I think converting the older style tape camcorders would be a hassle.
Anyone can offer me some video advice?
If I can borrow someones, I would love to take some video of the hits. Got the optics that would be easy to see the impacts.
Well.
We've heard from one.
Wonder if the other will make an appearance?
You're right, it doesn't. If guys are #####ing about point of impact deviations with groups at 100/200 yds. imagine what the effects would be at the distances you're talking about.I think the goal of one shot one hit is commendable but I don't think it happens very often at extreme distances on small targets.
Thats what happened to me. We'd spot a hit 20 feet left. Correct and then get a hit 30 feet right. Gusting crosswinds are NOT the long range shooter's friend.Suputin, I know what you mean and was lucky to catch some constant air. A variable gusts would have driven me insane - no wind flags.
