Short range thumper suggestions.

You could do this... it's a thumper... but not short range.

I’m only familiar with production offerings of low quality. You need to explain. Is this going to have a red pad to accomplish a sense of exclusivity? Or are you just going to kill #### with it? :)

Very nice. You can almost feel it now!

This should get em excited on their glorified "Savages..." all the colors of the "Rainbow!"

Nice!! Now I can build my custom 6.5 CM John Deere edition with the correct recoil pad.

You likely jest, but my dad is a John Deere fan and has all kinds of Deere knick knacks... he would probably have hunted with a John Deere rifle back when his age & health allowed for it.

Yup just funnin but somewhere on the interweb is a picture of a JD SKS done up in green and yellow.
Damned if it doesn't look really good.
Kind of the perfect tractor gun for the farmer who has everything.:p

Look forward to hearing what you think of the 35-375 Ruger Greg, would be a slick all over the continent cartridge for those of fortitude. Will be flat, fast, and heavy.

Yup, it will have some snap... 225 Accubond at 3.385" moving at 3100+ fps should do quite a lot... will test it on a spring bear and then carry for moose... will do a range report in a month or so.
