Shorten PAL Approval Times

I never got asked any questions on how I would deal with certain situations, although I know they asked my 1st reference if I had any violent tendencies and did she think I would be a responsible gun owner. My interview was all related to my application.

They need to talk to both for RPAL.
 
Damn, hope they only need one copy of each because that's all I sent. I still have the other copies though. The test result has to be sent to the CFO for approval after the course is completed. They stamp it and send it back, I hope they took their copy at that point.
 
Did you all receive 2x copies of the PAL and 2x copies of the RPAL? All of mine are stamped.

I think I'll call on Monday, or just send all 4 and make photocopies of them before sending.

Yes, I got 4 copies. 2 PAL and 2 RPAL, all of them were stamped. I could swear my instructor said to only mail 1 copy of each. Both myself and my brother in law attended the same course and we both only mailed 1 copy.

Noltz, if you are going to call tomorrow...would you mind posting what you find out please?
 
I got two copies of each report back. Each report starts life in quadruplicate:

1 copy to instructor for his/her records
1 copy to you for your records
1 copy to CFC for their records
1 copy to CFO for no damned reason at all

You only need to send one copy of each guys. In fact, I still have both my original copies of PAL and RPAL test. I sent one photocopy of each along with my application. All went smoothly and I had my licence in hand in about 30 days.
 
I've been calling basically everyday and still havent gotten through. The recording just keeps saying they have a high call volume, Every time i call. WTF

Stay on the line. I called on Monday from work, where I have a speaker phone. The recording said a 20 minute wait time but the call was answered in 5.

I'm still not in their system yet even though they signed for my application last Thursday. I'll be calling tomorrow :D
 
If they signed for your application last Thursday, you won't be showing online for another two weeks or so. Then its a week or two for interviews. Once the interviews are done, you're off to the CFO for final approval.

They received my Application Sept 27, I did my CFSC & CRFSC last weekend, so once that comes back from the CFO, I'm gonna fax that in. Can I call in my interview/ references before they receive my safety training?
