^^
From what i can tell the applications sit in limbo for 4 weeks or so and then pop up online as "processing"
That would be the mandatory 28 day waiting period.
Did my non restricted course at the end of March, and my restricted course last weekend (small town, one instructor, looooong story) so I was finally able to get my full application in the mail yesterday!
I know there's some good information in the first post of this thread, but it was from 2010 and things have probably changed a lot since then... Without reading/searching through the entire 725 pages in this thread, could someone provide a quick summary of what I should do (and anything I should NOT do) to ensure the processing happens as efficiently as possible???
Your help will be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!
Filling in all the blanks on the form.... a given. Making sure the test results are included.... a given. These two simple things reduce wait times.
I never said the originals. Photocopies are recommended.
One way to shorten things up is to send the app in 4 weeks before you take your course. (that gets the 28 day clock started while you are waiting for your course date rather than having it start after everything has been sent....saves 4 weeks from what i can see) You may get a letter saying your Course report is missing and giving you a fax number to forward it to. After you fax the course report it's pretty quick ......or at least it was for me (license issued 3 days after I faxed the R course report in)
So.....is there a thread on how to shorten the wait for a LTATT?
3 days only could be possibly in theory with a PAL alone not an RPAL regardless of sending it in in advance since they will not do interviews etc etc until they have those reports as a rule
Yep.. apply for your ATT yourself (which is contrary to teh BS from some perfectly LEGAL and is how it was intended by parliament regardless of the CFO's crap)
Faxed ny LTATT in last Wednesday to the NB CFO. Do they mail them or send by email?
What did gun owners do to the Ontario CFO to piss him off so much haha.
I can confirm the 28 day thing. Application was received in NB on May 20th according to the ExpressPost tracking, showed up online on June 16th with a received date of May 20th. Calling tomorrow to make sure it's all good and hopefully do interview.
