CFSC course completed: January 5th
Application for PAL Snail Mailed to Miramichi: Wednesday, January 13th
Application Received on: January 18th (Across the country Snail Mail in 5 Days?! It can happen!)
Appeared Online: February 8
Had References Call in: February 12
Current Status: Your application has been processed and your licence has been issued. If you have not received your licence within 2 weeks please contact the Canadian Firearms Program Toll Free number.
The last time I called they said that they are just waiting for the picture to be scanned....A week so far.
I appreciate the process and the safety precautions is provides but a week to scan a picture? Here's hoping it starts moving again soon!

Brahs, how many days do you think it takes for mail to go from Toronto to Miramichi via REGULAR mail? RIP, I fked up huge and did not express post it. I put it in the mail on Feb 10th. When would you guys reccomend i call them for my refrence number?

So I had my personal interview with the AFO here in my area regarding my PAL application. Turns out an individual who was involved in a string of armed robberies used my name as an alias while being contacted by police. The AFO wanted to simply confirm it was me making the application and not the other individual. Very polite once she confirmed I was actually me, and approved my application right there and also asked if I was interested in my RPAL also. So all and all worth the time obviously, now I guess I wait a little longer and in the mean time do some damage control on someone using my relatively good name.

Yep! They'll ask for your application number, he just needs to give that and they'll ask the questions. It's really easy. I did it for a friend a few weeks ago, and I had another friend do it for me at about the same time.

Now all that's left to do is check the mail! And finally make the decision between a rifle or a shotgun to get started.

Now all that's left to do is check the mail! And finally make the decision between a rifle or a shotgun to get started.
I just finished the CSFC and am about to send in the application and am scheduled to do the CRFSC in May, would it make sense to send the application in now as RPAL and send the course report in when I get it May? Just wondering if theres any way to cut down on the processing time
I wish! The difficulty is that I have a wedding to pay for this year. I'm thinking if I get a cheap mossburg and put a few ducks on the table my fiancé might be more receptive to a sako coming next. I guess the jokes about hawking her ring for a rifle didn't go over too well...

I just mailed my application to Miramichi today without my stamped results. I was told my stamped results should be here in less than 6 weeks. If I fax them when I get them in 6 weeks, how much longer will it take to have my licence issued? Also, if they look at my application before I fax in my stamped results, what happens? Will it be put at the bottom of the pile? Can anyone who has used this method let me know how it worked out for them. Cheers.
