Shorten PAL Approval Times

I think it should, when I called they said type in exactly as you put it on the application. My application was received Dec 22nd and wasn't online until Jan 18th. Be patient!
 
I sent my Restricted Firearms Test results and all my info to them through Expresspost on Monday. It says it is supposed to be there tomorrow, but maybe not do to the weather. Darn already having issues! LOL!!
 
So waited 7 days as requested and once again called in now on Day 50 and still not ready for my references to call and told to call back in a week. I tried to ask politely if there is a way to move this along or what the possible delay was as again I'm waiting to apply for a job that requires an rpal I got a very terse "you don't need to call in again, we have until at least the middle of February to complete this and we'll call your references when we are ready.

Gotta admit this is starting suck a lot of the excitement out of this new adventure.

Im about a week ahead of you in line. When I called today the gentleman on the phone put me on hold to look into it and said it should be ready next week.
 
I struck out again today as well, lady said there was no timeline, she didnt seem very friendly so I wasnt gonna push it. Day 52 now so approval pushing 60 days at the EARLIEST. Thinking they should update their 45 day timeline...

Well I figured I'd call and let them know that "one of my references may be leaving the country for work...." and they informed me to call back in 2 weeks to see where the app is sitting. She said I should get info then to have 1 of my references call in. (this is for a pal/rpal initial)

If that timeline is right, I will be at 5 weeks from them receiving the application.

Mine was received by them dec 3. appeared online Jan 7th... I have same message as you still for Rpal/pal.
