Hey from a fellow Ontarian, here was my timeline, received on Nov 21, showed up online about 20 days later, about a week later a called for my interview and had my references call as well. From that point it took another week or so to show completed initial processing, just showed up wed 2 Jan as license issued. The Ontario CFO is backed up from holiday break from what i was told. Other thing is BC seems to issue on or about 28th day and Ontario seems to be closer to 40-45 days.

Any information on ATT both long term and short term.
Also I have two residences, do you think I can get a ATT to transport between two locations?
Moreover do I need to store restricted firearms at my primary residence?

My application was recieved in NB on Nov 19th. In the system 19 days later, 5 days later my photo and application where scanned and I had my interview on that day. My references called on the 25th day and it went to the CFO that day and returned approved the 26th day. 28th day my licences were printed and Christmas eve day I got my licence in the mail. Merry Christmas to me. Bought me a Russian SKS and a Remington 700 on Boxing day!

Won't be long now...I have had my card for a week and have not bought anything yet. Now that I can buy I am not in a hurry...LOL
I did pick up my Remington 870 12 Ga that I can now legally store at home and I have used my PAL to buy ammo for it.
I bought a cz858 and have an sks on hold. Just waiting to hear back on shipping costs at a few places for a crate of surplus ammo. Got my eyes on a few other goodies as well, just have to convince my better half.
I hope I have that problem tomorrow, LOL!
Check out Pullens on Millstream. They carry the SKS rifles and 7.62 bulk ammo...there was discussion a while back on caseloads but I don't know what they have in stock. Might save you some shipping costs.
So it being in progress means that it's with the CFO and they did not do my interview ? Keep in mind I only applied for PAL not RPAL.
Question: I sent in my application over a month ago, online it says done initial processing and is in progress. I checked my Visa and it was charged a day before the application showed up online for the cost of the licenses PAL/RPAL. Will they even do my interviews? I was under the impression they only charge you once you've been approved.? Anybody have any knowledge of this?
My credit card was charged the day it showed up online.
edit to add; I'm pretty sure they will still charge you even if you are denied, that's why they charge you as soon as they start processing your app.

Thanks but unfortunately I just called the cfc and my license was mailed on Jan 4th even though it showed as issued on Dec 24th. Hurry up and wait some more I suppose! Just hope the guy I left a deposit with doesn't get to choked about the wait.
Yes..my on-line issued date was 4 days earlier than the issued date on the paper that came with the Pal...There is obviously issued and then issued. The first issued is likely 'approved' and the second issued is likley 'printed'...not sure what the 'mailed' date is. That's why it seemed like 2 weeks in the mail and I was crapping all over the Pony Express...but yours should be here very soon now. I'll put my money on Thursday.
4 days from issued to mailed sounds acceptable to me, but mine was almost the full 2 weeks until mailed. Oh well whats a guy to do? This week would be awesome, we'll see.
