Shorten PAL Approval Times

I've had the same thing at two stores in the lower mainland. Guess it's a store policy thing but I have to think that if I can go shoot with a buddy who has a PAL I should be able to hold an empty one at the store.

Doesnt seem like they are sending it over to the BC CFO right now unless there is some sort of problem. Both my RPAL and my friend's were issued like 10 minutes online after our interviews were completed this month.

Since you have not I would completely agree to try as many as possible.

well when I went to Cabelas and I wanted to see that Glock all I got was do you got a PAL ? and I said nope they said nope to me cause no PAL so ya its not BS its the truth cause that's what happened .

Sorry but you said it was illegal and they could loose their license which is NOT true.. there is absolutely nothing in the FA/regs to state such at all.

That could be Cabelas store policy but even that would be stupid since it can and will alienate possible customers. I know I for one would tell them such to their face if they did so. Meanwhile I've been in there and was never asked, nor in BP or any shop for that matter yet.. in Canada or in the US for that matter.

How to change my reference?

I really hate it because they sign it and they know that it is the firearm licence and now
And now they are trying to backout

Please help me comrads i am done with my interview ... But my reference won't call in

Well that's just nasty! :mad:

I'd offer to help but I don't know you.. but references should be able to be changed I'd think.. never been asked that one before.

i ask them why they don't want to call
they told me that they don't want to call because they are too lazy to call 1 800-731-4000
and it doesn't make sense

I phoned 5 days after my application appeared online and they transferred me immediately to do my interview. The interviewer told me that had I not called him it would've taken 2-3 weeks for them to contact me and my references.
 
My update:

Did my course in June (22-24ish), mailed right away, app received July 4. Did interview and references all called last Thursday (Aug 29). Today showed up as issued. Pretty much 2 months from receipt to mail-out.

one of my reference called! and he dosen't know what kind of address he write on the application!!

can i ask what will happened to my application?

and now he is calling again
 
Mine just went up on the site. Sent it in beginning of July, it says received July 15, went online today Sept. 3. I'll see how long until it's issued. non restricted so probably no interviews.
 
I can't believe that BS, of all the 50 days I have been waiting and has been called every week since appear online ask for missing information and such, until now the final stage for interviewing, thy told me my photo is missing my name on the back so they send back for me to write it down, confirmed it. I was like that's bull ***, they should have figure out that long ago when I asked for missing information.

Start writing letter people, we Need to get ripped of that office.

On a side note, I upgrade my PAL to R-PAL.

Typical of course.. but aim at the politicians whom appointed the BS-o-crats whom are the cause.. a prime example is wyatt.

Tell every politician this is beyond unacceptable.. and in your case KND.. I suggest letters to the editor of any/all newspaper etc you can get your paws on.
