CanPar driver just dropped off my ammo order. "It's awfully heavy", he said. "Yeah. marble floor tiles," I replied.

Opened up the crate to see the two sardine tins, so cranked off one of the tin's tops with the large key provided. Whew, not that easy, but manageable.

I feel qualified to apply for Portuguese citizenship now.

Darn, I was hoping that these rounds would fit onto the old 7.62 x 39 stripper clips I had lying around, but they just don't fit on.

I thought that 7.62 x 39 stripper clips would house all 7.62 rounds, including the 51 NATO round. But they don't, as I can jam them on, but loading them into the M14 is then too hard.

Why not worry? Got enough ammo now, and a nice zombie killer as well. No worries.

had you done a little RESEARCH , you would have seen that the 7.62x39 is a COMPLETELY different cartridge than the 7.62x51( 308 winchester) they share NO dimensions whatsoever- your reloading manual would have told you that- therefore, the stripper clips won't work either- or at least not very well- however, if you had 06 on stripper clips, or 8mm, or a host of others- they would work- and inspite of both being 7.62, the russian is a .311, the nato is a 308 in bore size

Geez, I'm really sorry I somehow offended you by not doing enough RESEARCH on ammo cartridges in my previous post.

Guess I'll have to consult you for advice on all things gun related in the future.

Oh yeah - for all you people who are unhappy that your order has not been processed, you haven't recieved your rifle or ammo, etc etc...

Keep in mind there are plenty of people who missed the boat on this deal and would be more than happy to pay you to give them your place in line. Just sayin'.
