Recoil is very manageable with a 590 Shockwave 12ga ....

And recoil is very manageable with my Tac-14 12ga ....

I'm sure you know this, but test how far forward your magazine tube goes when taken apart so that your barrel is similar in length. Great looking shotguns!

I had thought about this. that would put me around the 20-21" mark, hence why riot and trench guns are most likely that length. This one isn't going to try and be a trench or riot so I figured going shorter than the tube when extended shouldnt hurt anything?

Won't hurt anything, may have to to align it a bit when assembling though.

Just completed another short shotgun project. I was thinking about how partial I am to them.

Well, I use mine for hunting ..... geese, deer, grouse, hares ..... This fall I will try turkey ...
