You don't find the added weight on the sling, plus its movement when you are shooting to be a pain in the ass??

Plink has it right.

Shotgun ammo carrying slings are s**t. High on LCF but uber low on practibility. Try moving and shooting with that weight swaying around under your gun. I had one and threw it out; didn't even try to give it away, it's that bad of an idea (that's how I roll).

Bandolier, belt or the multitude of fine vest carriers and pouches are the way to go. The situation ALWAYS dictate.

Easily you could easily go with this - easily.
It is an interesting shotgun only rig - I'm not sure if the dangling empty strips would be a pain though. After considering the options I think the velcro sidesaddles are the way to go with a traditional shotgun. However something like this might be the ticket for a bullpup shotgun.

I run one of Simon's new carrier/pouches on my vest and 3 Cali Compworks 4 shell holders on my belt for 3 gun

EDIT: No but seriously though, can one of those micro rigs be used on a belt? It would be nice to have that weight on my waist rather than on my shoulders.

BBB, I bought a 7 shell nylon side saddle... What velcro should I use to stick it on the gun? The saddle didn't come with the fuzzy velcro.

I bought some some velcro at walmart and it was an EPIC fail... Didn't have enough "stickyness " to keep the fuzzy velcro on the gun.....

Should have come with both sides of velcro.


If all else fails, try 3m brand.
