I've always had an 1100 for waterfowl, deer and turkeys. I use a 597 for small stuff, sold my SP10 and my 597 magnum to my regret.
I want a Kodiak 180 for coyotes since my ar isn't going nonres anytime soon. Would really like to try a bull pup for coyotes at some point maybe too. ( we run coyotes with hounds so most are really moving fast)

I hunt with them a lot. Not for any particular reason, I just have a bunch of them I like to hunt with for one reason or another. I also like to use lever rifles if I'm pushing Bush. But to be fair, the majority of my successful hunts have been with a bolt rifle.

I don’t but last season my wife took her first deer with an sks, I have no problem with hunting with any type of action so long as the gun is accurate enough to ethically drop the animal.

I really want to hunt something with an svt40, that would be a real fun one to use. Aside from carrying it around in the bush that is lol.

Five semi auto shotguns, hunt with all. A dozen semi auto rimfire, crows and gophers. And one semi auto CF which I hope to use on deer one day.

I use a semi-auto 12 gauge for hunting migratory birds only. In the very early 1980's I used a semi-auto Remington Carbine in a 30-06. Short range, fast action hunting such as, hunting with dogs or hunters pushing bush, I would consider to go with the semi-auto. However my hunting method for big game only requires a bolt action.
