Show off your rare Glocks!

Awesome ! Never seen a factory red framed Glock , which model is it?

It's a practice gun. Doesn't shoot

Its the G22P. Its a dryfire practice gun. The top end is non functional (Barrel solid with cross drilled holes, chamber can chamber a live round but has hole drilled on top, no firing pin hole in breech face). Bottom end however is a fully functional firearm, and will work with a functional top end, therefor its registered.

Glock also makes a blue gun that shoots FX training rounds. Both are limited to Mil/Leo purchase only but occasionally they do get out into the wild.

Ok. Dumb question but why does one need a trainer mag that loads live rounds?

AFAIK, these mags were used in place of issued duty mags when ever LEO were training. This way only these got beat up and thrown around, and easily identifiable if mixed in with good mags. They could have also been used for less lethal ammo, but not sure on that.

These mags are circa 94/96 i believe, they have since switched to just colored base plates on regular black mags.

Ah. Gotcha! Like practice vs. issue TQs. Thanks for the info. You really have quite the collection.

Thanks for the kind words. It's taken me quite some time to find what i have. My ultimate goal is to make a "Glock" room/museum similar to the "HK" room, filled with "special" edition/marked Glocks. Gonna take me a long long while though, there are way more than i originally thought......c'mon lotto max:p

There used to be a US poster here, I think from Las Vegas, who had a very extensive Glock collection also. I remember one he built to look like the Boba Fett gun along with an AR. Forgot his CGN name. He may be a good resource if there are things you are still seeking that are Glock related.
Someone here may recall his name.

Sounds like you fell into the same rabbit hole as Fox Alpha! Good luck and with Lotto max!

I think you're thinking of PUREVIL. He has posted pic's here along with mine. https://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/showthread.php/361763-Show-us-your-Glocks!/page3

He's got a pretty decent collection going too. I myself mostly want to stay in the 9mm guns (i know, i know, i have some 40 cal guns in there.).

Yup! That's him! Smart to limit the collection!
That's cool. Gen2 19 would be my ultimate CCW. Im sort of on the hunt for one now if the price is right (not for CCW of course)

Do you have 12(6)? The Gen 2 G19 is my only rare Glock ( the pic is in the 1st Gen Glock thread) as it's genuine all the way from 1986!
