Show off your Ruger No.1's

I'd love to get a hold of one of those .303's. They shoot so nicely out of my enfield no.4, but it's a bear to lug around the woodlots. Triggers and bows in Brantford has them listed but a quick e-mail revealed they don't have a single no.1 so I'll have to keep my eyes on the EE once I get approved.

I've seen a couple on the EE a while ago. Gatehouse might have one or had one for sale, if memory serves.

Gatehouse? I had a peek at Dante's to no avail, and fired off an e-mail to Lebaron to enquire about their current inventory. I've seen one on EE in .270 Weatherby, but the price of factory ammunition is startling, as I don't handload. How easy are the iron sights to see out of? My eyesight has recently started to slip so I'll be adding a scope eventually, but being able to use iron sights is also gratifying.

one of the most major outdoorsman hunters on this site, in my mind but could be mistaken, he, or one of the biggest members here had a no.1 303 for sale, recently, I just thought it may have been him, could be wrong!

Showed it on another thread, but here go's again. Ruger #1 chambered for the 300 H&H. It loves 150 grain NAB/BT.
 
I took the plunge and bought one from a member in B.C. in 7x57, just have to cool my heels and wait out Canada post until it gets delivered. Already bought a couple boxes of core lokt, I'll see if I can wrangle up some Euro ammo for a half decent price after I run the Remington stuff through it.

This an old pic that needs updating because I sold the only 303 Brit in Circassian known to exist, but I have added an early prefix 1b in 22-250 to the herd. All the 303 talk and RSI fans in this thread might want to know 19 rsi's in 303 did leave the production line.

I purchased it from Lever Gun Leatherworks from Idaho. It is custom made to fit this rifle and there is 4 month waiting period. Checkout his website and you will not be disappointed in the craftsmanship.

My one and only NBR 1, just got it this summer. Caliber 25-06, scope; Vortex Diamond back 4-12x40 AO with dead hold bdc
Haven't put a whole lot of rounds through it but so far loving this rifle!
