Yes, from 1977 to 1980, Sig was basically non-existent in North America so they were distributed by Browning as the Browning BDA (Browning Double Action). I've also seen them called Browning M220 but I don't think it was the official moniker. They were available in 9mm, 45 ACP and get this 38 Super! I'd love to get my hands on one in 38 Super. Mine was made in 1977.
 
I haven't owned a Sig in years....but if I were looking to add one it would be P210.....

The X-guns feel better in hand, are easier to shoot well with better trigger and sights, make 9mm feel like .22 due to the weight, and are the quality equal of the 210. That said, if I could keep only one of that group it would be the 210 but I can’t explain why.
 
My first, but very likely not my only Sig, as I've been very happy with the used P250 I acquired from the local range last month. I'm gradually getting better with it. I hadn't really thought about how polymer frames tend to shift balance as the gun empties, but am improving with every visit to the range.
