Yep, Tacops. My first try at any sort of competition. Didn't fo very well, but had a ton of fun and learned a lot :)

That is a great pic, and a great Sig, congrats. If I can be helpful? Maybe square up your hips to target, bend you knees a bit, lean into your target, and relax your shoulders and elbows just a bit. You look like your right elbow is locked, but if you will bend it just a bit, and have a good firm grip on it (think handshake where you are trying to intimidate your teenage son), you obviously have good hand/grip strength from that pic! A locked elbow is not helping your shooting....concentrate on that front sight, shooting both eyes open.....and voila! you are going to tighten those groups up! Safe shooting, you have the right gun for the job. TC

Just put this on another thread but thought it could go here too....My newest 9mm....traded a S&W 627 PC for this P229 SSE. Just waiting for the Hogue G10s Piranhas to show up and take it for a spin.

That is the first p229 legion in Canada that I have seen. If you don't mind, where did you purchase it?

It is/was (not sure if there are more yet) the first 229 Legion in canada!

I didn't buy it from anyone per se, because they weren't/still aren't with retailers in Canada. I ended up importing mine from outside Canada as a frame only and having a canadian spec barrel drop shipped to the importer and installed/registered that way. It was a big pain in the ####, but MY GOD was it worth it.

I have my dream gun of a p226 equinox in .40, but someday I want a p229 in 9mm ... because.
They would go together really well.
I discovered a little late how much I like the look of the old style thin serrations on the slide.
The p229 seems to be somewhat rare at the moment as well

Hey! I recognize those!! Yup. They are nice. I'm going to take a new 'family picture' this weekend of the whole crew.
