Show your PYTHONs & Snakes Here +++

Bright Stainless 6" Pythons on Gunbroker for max $4K (MAX!) with ALL papers and box and the Colt letter is waste at $75. It means nothing. YOu can check the serial on Colt's web site to ensure its Sainless, blue or BTST. The Double Diamand is nice but its a regular stainless Python with a funky rollmark, and should be paired with a 1911 in a nice wooden case. Without the case/1911 its not a $6K+ gun, at least not anywhere else but Canada.

If anyone wants to import a Python, PM me and I'll set you up with my 'Python bloodhound' in Georgia who finds them all the time at fair prices.

Well by saying that you can check a finish on the Colt website, you are showing your lack of knowledge on the subject. Four times out of five, there will be no information at all, especially if the gun is made after 1986. If you call , they won't offer you the model number and will tell you to call the archive department. Call the archive department and they will tell you that you must get a letter done to find out what the original finish was as it left the factory. If you wish to wager on it, I've got a couple of loose brownies waiting for your bet.

Here ....... go offer this guy $4K and tell me what he says..........

Better yet find me one on GB........ or anywhere else for that matter

And while he is at it, he should bring two in, I'll buy the other. BSTS Python, mint unfired, in box with paperwork, all original not a 'home polish' in a fake ebay box, with proper wood grips. I'm in at $6K.

And, he needs to keep in mind, that $4K USD is $5K CDN at the moment. Well, I'm not holding my breath.

Hmmm maybe I need dust off some of my snakes ; )

Yes you should indeed! You give me something to aspire to! Love looking at your collection, and hope some day I can have something close. In the meantime, I'm scooping up S&W guns because I am conflicted on where my true love lies....haha

Well I just came back from a several weeks stint in warmer climate, to my surprise(not) there are couple feet of the white stuff outside. The snakes are therefore in hibernation till the better weather arrives. Patience, oh well.

PS. Some of you newbies ; ) sure have me beat with your NIB snakies!

Well I guess I'll have to provide the entertainment today............

A pair of Double Diamonds.
