Show your reloading benches

Was given a 100lb old solid wood teachers desk. It is only 5ft, I'll lose 3ft of work space, gain a ft in width. But has drawers and extension that slide out. But the table top is 1.5" thick.

Was thinking recessing the Lee QD plate, since the table top soo thick. So when not in use. Mount the presses on the side. Then be able to have to have area to clean and work on guns without the plates effecting.

I'm not crazy about a desk for a bench. I like something higher that I can stand and work at or use a bar type stool to sit. A desk is too low to stand.

YMMV :)

Im going to make it taller. I know all too well about trying to work with low counters. My kitchen counters are 3 inches lower than standard. One of those if I extend this, I gotta shorten that.

Worst case, I'll just haul my old bench back in for the presses and use this as a cleaning desk.

Actually going to use both. Was down in the basement mapping stuff out trying figure how to reset up my gun area. I really don't want to try and get that bench out of the basement. I mean movers didn't want to.

I put the desk where my 2x8 bench was. Being that desk is almost a foot wider. I was doing some mapping and likely will sell/give it away in the spring and build another 2x8ft bench. I don't want small passage to get to my safe to get guns out.

Slowly trying to get the wifes studio setup so I can start putting my gun area back together.
