most of you are just jealous because i have one, you cant afford it so u just talk trash about it, you havent even held one and you never will, sorry 2 sound stuck up but, if you talk trash i will talk 2 u like trash, it is the MOST RELIABLE, ACURATE AND ###Y carbine available in canada, ur malfunctions are just due to your stupidity, you probably didnt even clean or lube the thing or break the barrel in, so 2 U haters, please please, if you see me at the range with a cqb dont ask me " can i try that out? " because i will always say NO 2 trash like u

So tell me, how many months/years have you used it on missions for?

BTW, my Sig is "###Y"er than yours, it has two happy switch settings yours doesn't. Not that it matters since now it sits in the corner of my room.

Here's Big Red's Ubersexy 552 shown with a Iraqi Police SWAT 551

Nice Sig there Big Red, I must admit Kevin's pic is a bit better ;)

More serious question: What is the accuracy like (out to say 300yds) with the CQB compared to the regular (528mm bbl) one. Just curious.

Thanks.

p.s. What ammo would you be running thru it? ie bullet weight, etc.

77 grain Mk.262 Mod 0 or Mk.262 Mod 1. The weapon is more accurate than the shooter.

Kev, that pic is soooo 2005 :p The only stuff in that pic still in use is med pouch and hat.

Hmm a can sounds nice, I'll try to get a DHL addy for the Baggers terminal. Hell, we even had DHL come to us once with a bongo truck full of stuff from Lightfighter!

I dont know what's funnier...Keeping up lame posts like this one, or changing your tagname to 1inchcock.

You're trying a bit too hard around the WRONG crowd guy. Some of these shooters see more real trigger time in a day than you'll see in your lifetime.

People will start to wonder what you are trying to compensate for.

This little bugger has quite the attitude eh Powewagon. I just don't understand some people how they can be such trolls. Common manners just doesn't seem to be part of how these people are brought up. This guys posts just makes me sick.

Sorry I missed the catastrophic part. The carrier broke. The battering at the end was obviously caused by something in the receiver that should not have been there, as there is nothing behind other than the recoild spring guide.
Just to get the terminology right, a catastophic failure is one that renders the gun permanently out of action. The gun in question requires a new part, and inspection.
I am also sure based on the comments made here, that the factory has not been informed, or offered the chance to investigate the problems.

Uh, it is pretty damn catastrophic if you are in the middle of Iraq and your reciever etc cracks like that in the middle of a gunfight.

You are unlikely to see a blown up gun unless it was ammo related, so even though you are Swiss Arms importer etc, you have to admit that this is a shocking failure.

You cannot say that it is not catastrophic just because there is no blood on the reciever from the shooters face. Further, although the rest of the gun may be salvaged, what are your chances of finding a new bolt carrier while on patrol in Iraq? A cracked bolt like that is something that target shooters can live with, but for people whose lives depend on the reliability of their weapons, that is simply unacceptable.

FWIW -- I know some guys who had LMT bolts sheer on them during a firefight in Iraq -- poor QC happens (it sucks when it happens to you -- and it REALLY SUCKS #### when rounds are going both ways.)

It almost seems to me like Sig did a B&T and sent faulty gear out (remember the B&T "Explodo" Cans... )

Of course the Mk18 bolts can be swapped a lot easier than a Sig system.

i have 1, and its DEFINITELY THE MOST ACCURATE CARBINE out there, i can shoot a quarter inch group, rapid fire @ 25 yards, and yes people do get jealous of the way i shoot, but then again i went to blackwater

Pffft... so what?

I've shot 1" groups at 300 yards on full-auto, with my off hand/

You really should practice more...

Dmented, you suck.

I went to Blackwater too, and offhand with a Llama 45 my groups are so small at 300 yards that if I told you it would be a breach of national security...

Oh yes, and when I say Blackwater, I actually mean the Coca Cola factory. I met 1inchgroup there, he was a great canner.
